These images were part of the group exhibition Élan vital and Momentum in Rangsdorf, in Germany from May until July 2022. The title and the idea of the exhibition are based on the concepts of the French philosopher Henri Bergson. His concept ‘Élan vital’ led my thought back to the year 2009.
Then, 4 years old girl Eirlin had drawn at my studio space and left one of her drawings there. Her act couraged me to use the discovery as my momentum to explore the ideas of creativity, intuition and continuity between differentiated acts.
Now - in exploring the impact of Eirlin’s drawing I also worked with the thought , how transformations construct an interplay between the past and the present.
