Thank you to Eirlin Enid Souza for her drawing tells about a coincidental event, which I decided use as an exercise to try to understand the thinking of the French philosopher Alain Badiou. I had written an essay using Badiou’s ideas of ‘truth procedures’, and thought it would be interesting to play with his ideas through my art work. Eirlin Enid Souza was a four years old girl, who by accident left a drawing at my studio. This drawing became a starting point to the installation consisting of drawing acts, photographs, a song and sculptures.
